Relief Society Celebration

On Saturday the girls went to "This is the Place Monument" for a Relief Society Celebration. They had the women dressed up in pioneer costumes and they explained to us how things were back when they first came into the Salt Lake Valley. They have made replica's of a lot of the old buildings and are setting up a town setting. It was very interesting to see what they have done. I would suggest to everyone to go and see what all is up there. It is very fasinating.

Oliver's 6th birthday celebration

We meet part of the family in Salt lake City, and celebrated Oliver's 6th birthday. He opened presents at the motel and then we went to dinner at Benehienna's. He loves to watch them cook right in front of you. Hillary and Caleb were there plus Ashley and Alese Birch. It was a fun night.

Rag quilt

I made a "rag" quilt for the new baby (Henry will be his name) They are kind of fun to make. I am sure the pioneer women are thingking why would your buy new material just to cut it up and fray the edges.
