Backyard June 2010

Pretty little bird that came to visit. I do not know what it is called. Does anyone?

Our flowers seems to be struggling this year, but a few sparse ones are doing okay.

Happy Birthday Susan

I had a very good birthday, cards, face book posts, texts, phone calls. Wow, lots of modern technology to say Happy Birthday. All the girls called and the Landon Family came out for dinner. Raquel made me a birthday cake. Six layers of different colors. It was beautiful, delicious and fun to eat. Thanks everyone for a great day.

Bear, Randy, Ashley June 2010

Ashley was tending Bear for Hillary and Caleb, so she brought him up for the week-end. This is Randy and Ashley outside playing with Bear. He is a very delightful dog and we enjoyed Ashley's visit also.

Frost in June

We had a major frost here in Rexburg last night. The roofs were all covered.
Thank heavens last night we went out and covered all the flowers and the garden. I cannot imagine what they would have looked like this morning.

We have had such a cold spring and summer. I wonder if we will ever get some warm days. I am ready to start complaining that it is to hot.

Blood Draw

Today I went to Madison Memorial Hospital to have my blood drawn to match up with Rodney. I had a wonderful nurse and it was a piece of cake. My blood is on the way to Seattle. I hope it matches. We both have bushy eye brows so I think it will. Good luck today Rodney on your next treatment.

Teton Dam Race

Saturday June 12th I participated in the 5K part of the Teton Dam Race with a group of friends. You run/walk from Smith Park up the dry farm hill across the top to the temple and then back down to Smith Park. It was fun.

Logan, Utah

I am in Logan for a few days. I got to go to Oliver's swimming lessons. He really likes them.
We got to go see Angie and Ryan's new house. It is so nice. Congratulations on your purchase. Mandy, Abby and their kids were there to help them unpack boxes. They had a house full but still had lots of room. The house is roomy and big and beautiful.

I am down here in Logan to help Ben and Melanie paint on the basement but did not take any pictures of that. Just envision me working hard. Ha! Ha!

Church in St. Petersburg

When we talked to Dianne she said look for the sign and you will know where the church entrance is. When she got to us she said I guess you probably could not read it. Can you?
