mortensengirlsplusted 9-25-10

We went for walks in the morning. It was so fun to be outside. Ladies your running looks a little fake!!!!
Our adventure into Polson, Montana for some girl time shopping. We found some really fun stores to hang out in.
Mary Anne taught some of us, Saundra, K'Lynn, LeeAnn, Deanna and I a Hexagon sewing class. So know we can all be in the Hexamaniac Club. I even finished my project. Yea!!!!!
Notice Aunt LaDean with the gurgle picture. I wish you could hear the sound. Meal time was our best time. We had wonderful cooks and wonderful meals. Notice Aunt Vera's leg warmers. We want to keep everyone comfortable. We have all had a wonderful time. Looking forward to the next retreat.

Howard Hughes dropped Aunt LaDean off to us at the Five Guys Hamburger place in Missoula Montana. Reloading the vehicle to fit everything in. We are headed to Little's cabin.
Arriving and greeting relatives. So much fun to make connections again since are last retreat in 2006 in Othello, Washington
Reed and Sandra Little's home (not a cabin) on Flathead Lake, just past Polson, Montana. They were so nice to host us and so gracious. It is gorgeous up here. Hard to explain the beauty.
Reed took a few of us on a boat ride around the lake. Thank you so much. Just hard to describe how beautiful, peacwful, and relaxing.

Bear at Bear Lake and the caves

Bear was a delight to have along also, with Caleb and Hillary. It was cold for him so they put a jacket on Bear.

Bear Lake, Utah 9-6-10

The family group eating pizza. We car pooled to Bear lake and saw the sites there.

The Lake is beautiful. It was a little chilly but fun to look at. I could not believe how busy it was. Cars, trucks, trailers and Rv's everywhere.

Rexburg, Idaho

You cannot beat the weather in Rexburg in August. I was on a bike ride last week up over the dry farms. The grain is golden brown, you could smell the alfalfa (hay) being cut, and see the "R" mountain in the back ground. What could be better.
This is coming down the hill looking at the water tower. The downs on the hills always make up for the ups. We had frost last night so I am afraid summer is getting over and fall is in the air. Oh well I love fall also.
