Hillary had to have some surgery on her nose so Randy and I were able to spend a few days at their home and tend Lily. She is really growing and we had the best time.

Sunday Sept. 18, 2011 Saguenay, Qubec

The whole town welcomed us with open arms. They were dressed in period costumes reflecting their town from the Indians to present time.

Cruising into Saguenay, Quebec. The waters were so calm in the Fjord of Saguenay, so different from the gale force winds of the remainder of Hurricane Maria we were in yesterday.

Theatre show "LaFabuleuse" 200 local volunteers and lots of animals that put on a production for us. It was great.

Saturday Sept. 17, 2011 Day at Sea

Back stage tour on the ship.

Tour of the kitchen behind the scenes. It was huge and so many workers.

We played Bingo. None of us won a thing but it was fun anyway.

Relaxing in the Crows Nest. The wind was at 70 knots. Really rough. They closed the open decks for the day.

Friday Sept. 16, 2011 Prince Edward Island

First stop on Island tour was to the Preserve Company. Wonderful jam and a fun hostess.

Bus tour around the island. Such beautiful houses and farms. Everything was so manicured and beautiful.

Green Gables. This is the place that is in the book of Ann of Green Gables. It is a national park now and is all restored. It was so fun to see.

Wednesday Sept. 15, 2011 Sydney, Nova Scotia

We went to the show "Spirit of the Fiddle". They are famous for Gallic Music in Sydney. A girl danced, sang and played her drum, and there was fiddle music also.

We walked around town and saw the sights.

At 11:00 p.m. the Indonesian Crew put on a show about their country. It was fun to see our stewards and servers perform. Max got to go up on stage and participate also. He did a great job.

Wednesday Sept. 14, 2011 Halifax, Novia Scotia

Halifax Novia Scotia LDS Temple. Randy and I, Max and Deanna, and Gary and Lalene went to the temple. It was so nice to visit this temple. The people were so nice.

Ferry Ride back to Halifax from Dartmouth where the temple is located.

Glass blowing factory. We watch them make crystal glasses, etc. Beautiful.

We all ate fish or lobster chowder at Salty's. A fun restaurant on the Pier. We walked along the Pier in Halifax back towards the ship.

Tuesday Sept. 13, 2011 Bar Harbor, Maine

We took the tenders into Bar Harbor. Walked around the cute little town.

Our shore excursion took us to the Wildwood Stables. We took a carriage ride through Acadia Park. Rockerfellow donated 45 miles of carriage paths in the park that can be used for hiking, biking, and carriage rides.

Top of Cadillac Mountain. Actually a hill but they call it a mountain. Elevation 1,530 feet. Beautiful view of the ocean.

Monday Sept. 12, 2011 Massachuttes

Charleston Navy Yard, US Constitution. Randy and I got into a little trouble trying to hand a camera over the fence. The Security people came out and were not to happy. I never did get a very good picture because I had to leave.

Saturday Sept. 10, 2011 Eurodam Cruises Ship

All five of our state rooms are side by side.  Deanna looking off her deck and Nina and Michelle looking off their deck.  We lined up with Tom and Mary Anne Ciccotelli today.  So good to see them.  The skyline of New York as we are leaving port.  Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, almost hitting a bridge, but we are  on our way.
