Kinsley Dancing

During the year I got to take Kinsley to daning each week.  I would pick her up at school and then we would do errands and then she would come out to our house for dinner.  Dancing started at 6 pm.    It was our special time to spend together.

Bowling

I have been on the Teton Lanes Thursday morning bowling league  (Early Risers) for many years.  This year I bowled with my sister Deanna, and my 2 sister-in laws Nina and LaLeene(not in the picture)  We have a great time getting caught up while we attempt to bowl.  As Jaxon tells me after this many years you should improve, but we go for the fun of it.

"Popcorn Popping"

I looked out my window and what did I see "Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree".  Actually they are our apple trees out in Randy's tree farm, but they did look beautiful.

The Mortensen Owl has landed again

The MORTENSEN OWL has landed again.  I will keep him for awhile but everyone related to the "Mortensen Girls plus Ted" be aware that the owl does not stay in one place to long.  He could be coming to your house next!!!!!!!!
This owl has really traveled.  He was originally made by Grandpa Forland Mortensen, won a First Place Ribbon at the St. Anthony County Fair and also won a Prime Quality Ribbon at the Madison County  Fair. When Grandpa Forland passed away ownership went to Rosena Palmer, upon her passing it went to Rella Brown.  She did not need to pass but did not want the responsibility of the owl so ownership went to Nina (Rodney Ricks's wife).  At an "Owl" meeting it was decided that the owl would join Mary Anne at her 50 1/2  birthday party.  She kept him until she flew out to the "Mortensen Girls plus  Ted" reunion that was held on September 23- 26, 2010 at Saundra Hughes Little's cabin and it stayed there until Uncle Ted's 70th Birthday Party.  The Owl  next left on his mission to California.  The Mortensen Owl has fulfilled his mission in Oakland California and wants to come home where there are no earth quakes, "occupiers", and Castro districts.  He's been reading my blog (as K'Lyn says) and wants to travel with me for awhile.  So he was mailed to me on April 3, 2012 by Sister K'Lyn Lyman.

Raquel's Birthday

I made Raquel a Counted cross stitch picture for her birthday.  She likes to do lots of crafts and scrap-booking.  This reminded me of her.
Opening her birthday present. We took the family out to dinner at de Pineapple Grill to celebrate her birthday.
