Lava Bike Ride

Everyone else went  home on Sunday so Monday morning we got up and went for a bike ride.  We went 21 miles  and made or half way point to Pebble.  I am glad that was not the Inn we were staying at.  Up on the hills you could see the leaves were starting to change colors.  Fall is defiantly in the air. It was a great morning for a bike ride.

Play ground equipment

June loved the playground equipment by the condo.
While the rest of the family was floating I played in the park with June.
Lily missed the second float and played on the play ground equipment.

Floating the Portneauf River

Walking down to the river to float.  Lily asked if she could hold Keagan's hand.  He took really good care of her.
They had fun 4 people floating tubes to use on the river.  Randy, Hillary, Kinsley, Caleb and Lily on Hillary's lab.  The other boat had Jaxon, Raquel, Holden and Keagan.

Kids playing at the small pool.

Bike ride in the Lava area

Randy and I went for a bike ride before anyone else got up.  We found a great road with hardly any traffic.  Trains go by constantly day and night and blow their horns at every intersection.  It was a beautiful morning.

Bike Ride with Deanna and Laleene

We started at the Cresthaven church and went up around the dry farms ending up coming down Pole Line Road.  So many telephone poles, I know why they call it Pole Line.  A small kitty came out on the road just as a pickup was coming by and almost got hit.  Laleene rescued the cat and took it home. It is one lucky cat.

Sunday Drive to Afton, Wyoming

It was a beautiful day outside, so after church we went for a ride in the little car. We went and saw the construction site of the Star Valley Wyoming Temple.  The outside, inside and baptismal font.
We rode with the top down.  I am sure we looked pretty silly, but it was great fun.
 Afton is a great destination.
We drove back home around Grays Lake.  It is a dry lake and a long dirt road.  We saw interesting things along the way; cows on the road, old houses, ranches, and a old school.  It was a great afternoon.

June 2 Years Old

June turned 2 years old on August 22, 2015.  I have made all the grand kids an elephant.  I also made her a pillowcase and skirt to match, along with a cuddly blanket.
Grandpa and i got her a motorized 4-wheeler.  She loves it.
We celebrated her birthday early because everyone was around for the reunion.  It was fun to watch her open her presents.
She loved her candles on the cake and eating the cake.  Happy Birthday June.

Bike Ride to the Temple

There have been a lot of fires in the sounding area so it has turned the sky to red in the mornings.  It made for a beautiful picture of the temple.
