Thanksgiving Break

Cooking has never been my thing.  Friday November 27th we did the turkey thing.  I got the rolls ready to go and set them on the stove to rise.  I also turned on the wrong burner needless to say I had a fire and a burnt bowl.  Hamish started barking or I would not have noticed.
Zip under the trees and Hamish.
We went to the light show at Freeman Park in Idaho Falls.  You rive through and see lots of lights.

Trip

We had a wonderful trip.  The first half we spent with Ashley in Paris, France and then in Ischia, italy.  It was great to have her along and for her to take care of us.  She knew how to read all the maps and subways and all that stuff.  We saw so many interesting things during our time with her.

The second half of our trip was spent on a Cruise of the Mediterranean Sea.  We visited the countries of Italy, Greece, Turkey, France and Spain.  We also saw wonderful things in everyone of those countries.  It was a trip of a life time for Randy and I.  But it is also good to be back in the United States.  We live in a beautiful part of the country and I would not trade it for anything.  It is really good to be home.  Now back to reality,  I am not sure I am ready for that.

Flying home- Idaho Falls

I took this pictures out the window of the airplane ride from Salt Lake City, Utah to Idaho Falls, Idaho.  Red at night Sailors delight.  I remember dad's saying.  It was a beautiful night.
I loved seeing the snow in the mountains.  It is hard to believe we were gone almost a month.  We landed in Idaho Falls at 5:58 pm.  Jaxon was there to pick us up and take us home to Rexburg.

Flying home- SLC

We arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah at 1:50 pm.  During this flight we lost 8 hours.  It was a long flight but I could not sleep at all.  We went through customs in SLC.  Everything went really smooth.

We had a 3 hour lay over in SLC so Ashley came and picked us up at the airport.  We went out to eat.  It was so good to hear people speaking English and I could understand what they were saying.  It is great to be back in the United  States.

Flying Home- Paris, France

We arrived at Charles de Gualle airport in Paris, France at 8:40 am.  The airport is a really pretty one and different.
We went to gate # K31 and flew out on Delta at 10:35 am.

Flying Home-Barcelona

We headed to the airport in Barcelona at 4:20 am. by a shuttle from our hotel.  It was still dark when we arrived at the airport.  We checked our bags in and flew at 6:45 am with AirFrance from Barcelona, Spain  to Paris, France.
