Day Day 14- Flying Home

Time to get back to reality.  We flew out of San Antonio, Texas in a rainstorm, landed in Salt Lake and the weather was gorgeous.  Hard to believe it is the end of February and there is no snow and it is so warm.  The sun was shining when we landed in Idaho Falls also.  NO SNOW.   Jaxon was there to pick us up and take us home.  We had a great time seeing California and Texas even though both weeks we hit their cold weather.

Day 13- San Antonio Temple

We attended a night Endowment Session at the San Antonio Temple.  This temple is full of stained glass windows that are amazing.  It was beautiful.  It was cold and dark outside so I did not get very many pictures.  Who knew Texas could be so cold.

Day 13- Fredricksburg, Texas

Fredricksburg is a fun little town with a German theme.
We ate lunch in the downstairs cafe called Rathskellee Restaurant.  It was still cold and rainy so we visited quick.

Day 13- Lyndon B. Johnson State Park

This is the school he would have attended
Lyndon B. Johnson and Lady Byrd Johnson are both buried here.
There ranch even though it has been donated to the State it is still a working ranch with lots of cattle.
We took a tour of the Texas White House.  The tour guide explained so much about the Johnson Family.
There is an airstrip on the property that only Lyndon and his grandson can land on.

Day 13- Sauer Beckmann Living History Farm
