We walked to the old part of Florence. One end of the square is dedicated to religion. There is a beautiful church and baptistry. It was so large I could not get it in the picture. The colors, carvings, marble, statues were all so amazing.
The other end of the square was the government buildings. The Statue of David originally (for 4 centuries) was in front on the government building. Now there is just a duplicate. They moved the original to the museum and inside.
There is a bridge that crosses the river that has stores on both sides. When you got to the center of the bridge you could look out to both sides of the river.
We had lunch at the Bargello. The waiter posed with Randy.
Venchi is a famous chocolate store. The sign is made out of chocolate running down the wall. You could smell the chocolate as you walked by.

I love there parking. I am not sure how a vehicle gets out of this one.
