Temples-Draper, Logan, Boise

Drpaer Utah Temple

Logan Utah Temple

Boise Idaho Temple

Randy and I visited these three temples during the last 2 weeks while we visiting the areas. It is interesting to see how each of the temples run the same but have their won individual personalities. We enjoyed all three. We saw the Twin Falls Temple but it was late in the day so we did not go in and do a session. We will save that for another time.

Civic Club State Convention April 23-25, 2009

Carol Nash Regional GFWC President. She was our featured speaker at the Convention. She was very entertaining and a fun lady to have at the convention.

Maurie Barton- Rexburg Civic Club President. She had to give a report on what our club had been doing during the year.

Linda Flamm. A member of the Rexburg Civic Club, plus the Recording Secretary for the State of Idaho.

Joyce Chase (with Linda Flamm) Idaho GFWC State President. She was in charge of the meetings and the convention for Idaho.

We all had a great time. I missed having Deanna there to bid against on the auction items. For sure again in 2 years.

American West heritage Center-Hays Family

Randy and I went and spent the week-end with the Hays Family. We went to the baby animal days at the American West Heritage Center. Oliver saw his friend "Patch" and really liked the wood working shop. He was not to impressed with the animals. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day. We all enjoyed seeing the Heritage there. We got homemade snikkerdoodle cookies.

"Wicked" April 15, 2009

On April 15, 2009 we went to Salt Lake and saw "Wicked". Melanie and Ben; Caleb and Hillary; and Ashley and Alese (her friend) came also. We ate out first and then walked to the theater. It was a great evening. The play is fantastic. If you have chance go see it.
