Oliver's Visit

Oliver came home with me for a few days after Henry was born. Tuesday I took Oliver and Kinsley to Bear World. They loved seeing the animals and riding on all the rides.
Tuesday night the Landon family came out to dinner. The kids love playing in the back yard. Kinsley and Oliver can get pretty high jumps in on the trampoline, and Keagan and Holden love the trailers and the slide.
Wednesday we went to Tauphaus Park and saw the zoo animals.
Thursday I took Oliver to the Splash Park; he swam in the hot tub; we played board games; saw the movie 'Despicable Me'; made names with Cheez-it crackers (couldn't find a 'V'); and Oliver got to go on the Carousel. He has been keeping me busy.

Logan Activities

We have had fun with Oliver while visiting the Hays Family. We took Oliver to the park by his school, and to the bridge park. He rode his bike and learned how to skip rocks. He had fun in his yard with a slip and slide. Ashley and Randy came up on Friday night and Randy went back on Saturday; Hillary and Bear came on Saturday and went home on Sunday; and Ashley will go home with me on Monday. We will take Oliver with us to Idaho for a short visit and give Melanie a break. I hope the Hays family has survived all the company.

Oliver Swimming

Oliver and I spent the afternoon swimming while we were waiting to hear the news of the new baby. I must really love him to go swimming in a public place. We went to the Logan Aquatic Center.

Bike Ride

Nothing beats an early morning bike ride. The weather has been beautiful for the last few days. The fields are so green; the sun shine is just right; the elk in the field are fun to watch; construction workers are tearing down the old Lyman school; and the Sutton Cemetery is one of my destinations; and the "R" mountain is in the back ground. What more could you ask for. Then it is back home to reality.

Blonde Grizzly

I just figured out how to get my pictures off from my phone. We visited Caleb and Hillary's store last week-end. It is really great. If you are ever in Salt Lake stop by and visit.

Stockings for Soldiers

GFWC is helping with a project along with with Delaware, Inc. They plan on sending 6,000 stuffed Christmas stockings to the soldiers in Afghanistan. Our club has committed to sewing 500 stockings. We are looking for Christmas fabric if anyone has some they want to donate. 1 fat quarter plus the felt can make 1 stocking. They sew up really easy, I made 9 tonight. There is a web site that tells you more about it. http://www.stockingsforsoldiers.org/PDF/2010_Stocking_Sewing__Directions.pdf

I think it will be a fun project to work on, and it is for a wonderful cause.

Logan, 4th of July 2010

We went to the Cruise In at the fair grounds. Saw lots of neat old cars that were fixed up so beautiful.
Saw the parade of the Cars
We all went and saw the 3-D movies of Toy Story 3. It was really good. The glasses you get to wear are the best.

Caleb, Hillary and Bear came to dinner on Sunday but I forgot to take pictures. So picture us all at a cookout at Ben and Melanie's house.

Baby Blankets

I made some simple baby blankets for the new baby, Henry. One is a white one for the baby blessing.
A blanket made for Oliver, so he did feel bad that Henry is getting everything. He likes sock monkeys anyway.
