Golf cart, Swings

Having fun in the back yard. The boys were loving the swings with help from their sister. The golf cart is a big hit. Randy calls it his work vehicle to be used at the storage units. He says it is a long ways back to the back units. Oh well it is fun in the yard.

"Ike"s Birthday 88 years old

After we had all visited the cemetery we took grandpa out for a belated birthday dinner. We ate at the Ruby River Restaurant. They brought grandpa out a birthday hat to wear and brought him out a Mud Pie for desert. We all had a great time. Thanks family for coming up.

Mom and Dad Headstone

Hunter Memorial came out to the Rexburg Cemetery and re-stained mom and dad's headstone. It looks so much better now that you can read the wording. It will look so good for the Memorial Day Week-end.

Tree Fell Over

The wind was terrible again today. Wind gust up to 60 miles an hour again. Several roads were closed because of high winds.
We were hit again. A large tree behind the 3-plex on 5th west blew over onto the neighbors house. The wind is blowing so hard I am sure the other trees will go also.
Wayne Parkinson is on his way over to pull the trees off the neighbors house and to pull down the other ones before they fall. This wind is getting old. I hope our other places hold together. Randy feels like he is fixing tons of things because of wind damage. So far no one has got hurt . So I guess things will be okay. It is now 10:00 p.m. and the wind has stopped completely. Almost errie it is so calm. I hope it stays this way.

We all ate breakfast at Little America. And Ben, Melanie, and Oliver went with Randy and I to the the temple grounds. We attended a sacrament Meeting in The Joseph Smith Memorial Building. It was so beautiful. The speaker talked on the mothers of the Prophets. I really enjoyed it.

Cancer Walk Salt Lake City 5-9-09

We ate breakfast in the room before we headed out for the walk. Tried to ride Trax but the cars were all to full. Waited for the next one but it was to full also. So we walked 2 miles to the Gate Way Mall from Little America and then did the 5 K Walk. Melanie and Oliver took a sort cut but meet us at the end. It was a fun morning.
