Ashley's backyard Project

Randy worked on Ashley's backyard while we were in SLC.  He laid sod and pavers.  It turned out really good.  Good thing she has a small yard.  Hamish and Zip like it out side.

Park City- 3rd Bike Ride

It is beautiful in Park City.  So many fun places to bike.
 Awesome views.
Paved bike paths everywhere.  What a great morning.  The clouds are coming in over the mountains so there should be rain soon, but the bike ride was great.

Park City, 2nd Bike Ride

We are enjoying the bike rides.
There are some really interesting things to see along the way. Art made out of recycled items. Then we passed through the Shoe Tree Park, where there were shoes hanging from all the trees.  Also there musical things set up to play on.  What  fun things.
The trails are amazing.  Tunnels or bridges  under and over all the roads.
Next we continued on the Rails to Trails Path.  So beautiful and no rain yet.  There were lots of beaver dams, beavers, ducks, fun old vehicles, lots of green grass and water.  It was beautiful and we beat the rain back to our Condo.

Walk at Wheeler Village

Saturday morning we took Hamish for a walk at Wheeler Village.  It is a restored working farm with lots of paths to walk on.
We saw lots of farm animals along the way.  I loved the geese with their babies.
A man was there demonstrating large bubbles with a large hoop.  It was amazing also.

Mitt Romney/Evander Holyfield Boxing Match

Ashley invited me to go with her to this charity event for Charityvision.  The company she works for was helping with the event so she received 2 free $2,500.00 tickets.  It was a black tie event.
What a great evening.  They raised 4 million dollars that night.  It was amazing, the items that were auction off, the silent auction and the boxing match itself.  Thanks Ashley for taking me with you.

Bugz the Musical

Holden and Keagan's 1st Grade Class (teacher Mrs. LaRue) put on the play  'Bugz the Musical'.  Keagan was a Yellow Jacket and Holden was a Dragonfly. It was so fun to go watch them perform.  Since the whole class was famous actors they took autographs at the end of the play.

Lilacs

The lilacs are especially beautiful this year and early also.  I went for a bike ride and there was just a slight breeze.  The smell of the lilacs was so strong.  It brought back great memories of Grandma Ricks (Alice) and grandma Richards (Harriet).  They always had them around.  Grandma Richards always put them out on the graves at Memorial Day.

June and Lily had a great time painting.  Lily is so careful and exact and June just paints everything including herself.  They are such fun girls.

Green Canyon

We went with the Barney Family to Green Canyon swimming.  It had been years since I had been there.  It is pretty much the same.  The steps and then the gradual decline into the water works great for little kids.  We had a fun morning.

Jackson Hole in the morning

We went for a walk around Jackson Hole this morning.  A helicopter was delivering lumber to the top of the ski hill; a Catholic church with the beatitudes outside; a beer brewery; a fun cruiser; beautiful daffodils; and beautiful sunshine.  What a great morning.  The break has been great.

Lily Barney- 4 Years Old

Lily had a Flamingo Party in SLC.  We celebrated her party the next week when she came to Idaho.  Her and grandpa shared a cake with the cousins.
Lily is using her Ipod to look at movies and play games.  She says it is her phone that cannot make calls.
