Alta

We drove up the hill aways and saw the Alta Ski Resort.  I love all the yellow daisies that are still around.

Snowbird- Tuesday

There were a lot of Stellar Jays flying around.  If you look close you can see one on the railing.
There was a paved trail around the resort that we went for a walk on.  The views were gorgeous.  Lots of flowers still in bloom.
We had a great breakfast at  "The Fork Lift" that went along with our Bed and Breakfast package.  It was a wonderful present.  Thanks girls and your families.

Snowbird- Monday

Melanie, Hillary and Ashley and their families gave Randy and I a "Bed and Breakfast" package at Snowbird.  We checked into the Iron Blossom Lodge.
It is a beautiful resort in the summer time also.
We took the tram to the top of the hill.
These are a few of the views on the way up.
We made it to the top of Hidden Peak  11,000 feet.
This guy took his bike up on the tram and then rode it down the mountain.  He took off fast and then was gone.  Wow, not on my bucket list.  Scary.
 On top of Hidden Peak
We had a great steak dinner at the Steak Pit.  We ate outside on the deck.  It was a beautiful night.

The Hays Family

Ben has been working on a violin this summer.  He is very talented in what he can create.
Melanie has been busy canning.  I can just hear the ping of the lids.  It reminds me of my mother.
Oliver entered some of his Origami in the Polk County Fair in Oregon.  He got the Superintendent Award.
Henry entered a picture of snails and got a ribbon and chocolate.  I miss them being close by.
