Ashley made her a couple of quilts while she was here for the break. It was fun helping her sew. In fact we had a couple of days with just the girls making all kinds of projects. It was so fun.

The three girls and their families that live in Utah met us in SLC and we went and toured the temple grounds. The lights were so beautiful and it was a warm night. We rode Trax over from our motel to see the sights.

We rented surries and took a bike ride along the ocean. Everyone had a fun time.

Thanksgiving Dinner at Hunters Steak House. But we all ate Turkey in remembrance of Thanksgiving Day.

Still a little chilly but the older grandkids did not seem to mind swimming in the cold.

A night time walk to work off the turkey dinner. This is the blue house in the movie 'Top Gun'. We saw a lot of fun houses on the beach along the ocean.

San Diego Zoo

Waiting in line to get on the bus and the tram. It is a little chilly so it is hard to see the grandkids look a like t-shirts. Imagine cute orange ones.

We walked to the end of the pier in Oceanside right by our resort. We ate a Ruby's. It is a 50's diner with really neat ambience. The kids meals came in a 50's car.

Because of bad weather we did not make our flight connection in Salt Lake. The rest of the family had already flown on. We had a delay of 5 hours in Salt Lake. The boys liked pushing the suitcases around while we were waiting in the airport. We made it though.

Melanie is taking her comps for her Doctorate today. So we are playing with the kids. They have a lot of leaves in the front yard to play in. The weather here in Logan is beautiful.
