McMinnville, Oregon

We all went to the Evergreen Museum today. What a combination; air, space and waterpark.
I love what they did to their golf cart.  A good picture opt for Randy, Henry and Melanie.
Lots of interesting things to see in the Aviation museum.
The original "Spruce Goose" Hercules, built by Howard Hughes.  It is so big I could not even get a picture of it.  The wing span is the length of 5 football fields.
Next we went over to the Space Museum.  They had a section of the Berlin Wall.
Lots of neat things to do with space.
We had dinner at McMenamins.   What a fun unique restaurant inside  an old hotel.  McMinnville is a darling town with lots of shops,  dining, and just fun things to look at.
It  rained all day but the parade went on anyway.  Oregonians to do stop for rain, something they are all use to.  We lined up outside on the main street to watch the Christmas Parade.
Afterwards we got free Chocolate milk and then we went to a store and had a cookie.
The parade was darling.  I could not believe all the people that participated and performed in the rain.  It was a light rain and we had umbrellas so it was not bad.   What a great day with the Hays Family and Ashley.
