Fun Day SLC 5-7-2010

After the zoo we ate lunch at the Lion House Pantry. What a surprise, we met Mary Anne there. It was so good to see her there and visit with her.
We shopped at the Mall, played in the fountain there(even though no water was coming this time), hang out in the motel rooms, swam in the pool. Just had a great time.
Went to the Clark Planaterium, sawa 3-D movies, walked on the moon, saw a Lazer light show, etc.

Hoggle Zoo 5-7-2010

Beautiful sunny day. We all went to the zoo and saw the animals and played around. Brand new baby elephant named Suri was there.
It is great to get all of us together.

Salt Lake City 5-6-2010

Grandkids swimming at the hotel pool with Ashley and Hillary. My feet in the hot tub. It seemed a little cold to me, but the rest of them loved it.

Silver Tea Civic Club 5-3-10

We had our last meeting of the year for Civic Club. It was the Silver Tea. A very nice luncheon and the winners of Junior Miss for Madison and Sugar City performed. They installed new officers and I will stay in as Treasurer for next year. The new theme for the State for next year is "Volunteering is the rent you pay for the space you occupy."

GFWC State Convention 4-29 to 5-1-2010

The Rexburg Civic Club hostessed the Idaho State GFWC Convention this year. We held it at the Best Western Convention Center. Mary Ellen Brock from New Jersey (National Treasurer) was our Keynote speaker. She was a wonderful lady and we all enjoyed her so much. Do you recognize Aunt Vera Mae? They installed new State Officers. I will be serving as the First Vice president. It should be fun working with the different ladies around the State.
We had a great time with everyone that was there. Great entertainment, lots of laughs and fun.

Costruction of the 4 plexes at Willowbrook

We are putting hardwood floors in the living, dining, and hall area. Jaxon laid this floor down.
Wayne Parkinson is our backhoe man.
View from the outside. Most of the siding is on the buildings, just waiting for the ground to dry so they can do more concrete work. We keep getting lots of rain.
Some of the units are in the sheetrock stage.
