Day 10-Mission San Jose

 This is one of the oldest missions in Texas.  It is still a working church.

 Pecan Tree.

 The stairs are  made out of one tree not plaster as it looks.

 Only baptized members can receive communion inside the church.  So the priest would come to this window and give communion to the other through this window.

The walls were really thick around the outside of the mission. The cajole (or homes) were in the outside walls.
