Day 2- San Diego

Randy and I went out for a walk early in the morning.  We are staying in the Gaslamp Quarter at the Wyndham Harbor Lights.  It was a beautiful morning for a walk.
This is the Port of San Diego. I love seeing the boats in the Bay.
The Midway is a ship that was used in WW II
This famous photograph of the end of the War has been made inot a huge statue.  Look at it compared to the size of the lady standing by it.
Bob Hope was an institution fro encouraging the military members.  Randy fits in good with the men.
It is so beautiful here.  The grass is green and the flowers are gorgeous.  You could even smell the grass as it was being mowed.  It was so green.
There was jogging path all along the Bay.
The Gaslamp Quarter is getting ready for Mardi Gras.
