Fun in Seattle

We started out our day by walking to the Space Needle and then boarding the monorail to downtown Seattle.  We did a little shopping there and waited out the down pour.
Some native dancers were performing in the Seattle Center.
We rode the public bus towards Chinatown.  We saw a large train going by.
The entrance to China town was really pretty.  They also had dragons on poles at the intersections.
 Sites in Chinatown
 We found Henry in Chinatown.
We ate lunch at King Noodle, a very authentic resturant in Chinatown.  The girls are getting me to adventure out.
Our cook, and the girls eating noodles with their chop sticks.  The food was amazing.  I would go there again.
Next we walked to the Columbia Center. The flowers are still beautiful in Settle
The observatory was on the 75th floor.
View of the Space Needle from the 75th floor
 The water front
 The football stadium
 The freeway
A selfie. I am having so much fun with my daughters in Seattle.
We had a steep hill to walk down so the girls were doing switch backs.
I love the sculptures on the old building.
 Pioneer Square
The Smith Tower.  We did not go up top but just looked inside.  This is where Seth and Tonya got married.
Seth, Owen and Tonya picked us up in 2 cars and took us to Salty's ( Alki Beach, Seattle, WA) to eat.  Melanie and I rode with Seth and Owen and Hillary and Ashley rode with Tonya
We had a great time eating at Salty's and getting caught up with Seth and Tonya.  They were so good to come and get us and go with us to dinner. I love the large pepper grinder.
It rained again while we were inside eating and then there was this view of the rainbow over the water right out the window where we were seated.  Gorgeous.
Views of Seattle right outside the restaurant.
