Bahamas- Monday-February 4, 2013- Powerboat Adventures

Our adventure today is a power boat ride.  They were suppose to pick us up at the resort, but there was a mix up, so they sent a taxi.  We had to pay a toll to get over the bridge to Paradise Island.
This is the boat we took off on.  The ride to the Island where we went took about one hour in open ocean water.
Our first stop was Allan's Cay where we fed the Iguanas.  There well over 30 of them.  You would put a grape on the end of a stick and they would come up to you and eat it off.
Iguanas are so interesting to watch.
Our next stop was The Exuma Cay where we got of the boat and this unique looking private island.
We fed the stingrays.  They had us kneel in the water and the stingrays came right up to us and we fed them fish.
Next Jason had the sharks come up to him and he fed them.  We were just a few feet away watching.  It was so amazing.
We next went on a drift snorkel right where the sharks use to be.  They were gone so we were okay.  It was a beautiful clear snorkel and we saw a few amazing fish.
They fed us lunch and then did a demonstration on how to prepare a Conch.  You remove the conch from the shell, rub them in salt to remove the slim, and cut it up into small pieces.  Randy ate some of the salad they prepared and said it was pretty good.  We boarded the boat and rode it back to Paradise Island.  What a great day.  The weather was just gorgeous.
