Bahamas- Thursday- Feb. 7, 2013- Snorkeling/Zoo

We are exploring again today.  We stopped at Jaws Beach to look around and maybe go snorkeling.  It is called Jaws Beach because a lot of the movies "Jaws" was made there.
We went down the road a little further and found a good place to snorkel.  Randy got a few pictures of the fish underwater.  It was a very relaxing snorkel, because we were on our own time and schedule.  It is kind of nice to have the car.
We went to the local zoo.  The Flamingo is the national bird for the Bahamas.  They had quite a few at the zoo.  It was reallya pretty nice zoo for a small one.
Pictures from the middle of the island.  This is where more of the locals live and work and go to school.  It was interesting to see it all.  The middle of the island reminds you a little more of Mexico, but all blacks, (Bahamians).
