South Carolina- Day 8- Edisto Island

We visited the Serpentarium on the Island.  Neither Randy or I like reptiles or snakes much, but we decided to see what they have.
We got there just in time to see them feed the Alligators.  That was pretty interesting.
The snakes were creepy but interesting.
A display of a Whiskey Still
 Lots of turtles.
 Their Albino Alligator.
A python.  It is just creepy even looking at it.
We stopped by the roadside and bought some baskets from these ladies.  They make them from the local grasses on the island.
We drove out to Steamboat Landing where the ships use to pick up and deliver the crops from the plantations.  It is on the Intercostal Highway for boat traffic.  There were some fishermen getting crabs.
We drove through the Botany Bay Plantation.  It has been preserved.
We ate dinner at the Seacow Eatery.  They have some unique restaurants here on the island.
We went back out to Steamboat Landing to watch the sunset tonight.  It was beautiful again.
It was a beautiful day again today.  The temperature got to 96 degrees today with really high humidity.  Wow, it was hot and miserable but still a great day.  The sun rises and sun sets are just amazing here.
