Williamsburg, Virginia in the 18th Century

The settlement of Williamsburg is an interactive town with all the workers dressed as the people would back then.  These are just a few of the places, a gun shop, a carriage ride, homes, churches, a blacksmith's shop, and a dressmaker's shop.
George Washington read the Declaration of Independence from the building that he read it from originally.  People were dressed in the proper clothes and were playing the part of people who did not agree with the document.  It was very interesting.
The kids tried out the stocks.  These were used to punish people when they did bad things,  Like beat your wife with to large of a stick, etc.
