One of the Historic Mosque of Instanbul

 This mosque was right by the market.  We went up a small staircase to enter.  We had to remove our shoes and wear head scarfs  to enter the Mosque.

Five times a day the men enter the Mosque to pray.  Each man knees on one of the rectangles and repeats the prayers.  The prayers are played over loud speakers throughout the town.
