Venice, Italy

We took a water taxi ride to St. Marks Square in Venice. There were a lot of neat boats to see on the waterway.
Scenic views of Venice from the water taxi
This is the famous Sigh Bridge.

St. Marks church.
The famous clock tower.  the guy on the right strikes the bell at 2 minutes on the hour, and the guy on the left strikes the bell on the hour.  It is beautiful to be in the square when it happens.
There were lots of Gondola's on the Grande Canale and the canals around the city.  Venice is made up of 118 islands.  Each time you cross over a bridge you are on a new island.
It was night time when we did the gondola ride so the pictures are a little dark.
Views on the canal.  We had a man serenading us and another one was playing the accordion.  It was a beautiful night on the canals.
We did a night time walking tour of Venice.
A view from the water taxi  on our way back to the cruise ship.
